Code Masters
Tig from Digitall Charity delivered a range of EcoCoding workshops to a range of Year 7 and year 8 students. The students were introduced to coding the Micro:Bits devices in a range of scenarios and real world Eco links. Year 8 students took part in the sessions Moo-teorologists and Spider Silk; the sessions introduced students to the use of sensors to gather data and radio waves to send data. Meanwhile, Year 7 students took part in the session Spaghetti; during the session students were using AI to program new motions for the Micro:Bit to react to.
The students had a great day learning new coding techniques and using handheld physical computing devices.
