There was a wonderful atmosphere at Sandhill View Academy this morning as our Class of 2026 returned to celebrate their GCSE results.

After months of hard work, commitment and perseverance, our Year 11 students finally had the opportunity to see the results of their efforts. We are incredibly pleased to see continued progress in outcomes, reflecting the determination of our students and the unwavering support of our staff.

The morning was filled with excitement and anticipation as students gathered with friends, family and teachers to receive their results. There were plenty of smiles, hugs and emotional moments as students discovered their grades and celebrated their achievements together.

A huge congratulations to every member of our Year 11 cohort. We are immensely proud of all that you have accomplished and wish you every success as you take the next exciting steps in your journey!

Headteacher, Mrs Dodd said: 

‘We are pleased with this year’s GCSE results, with the proportion of students achieving a grade 4+ in English and Maths increasing to 63%.  We are proud of the progress and achievements of our students; particularly given the challenges they have overcome. These results reflect the hard work and determination of our students and the commitment of our staff, and provide a strong platform for our students to take their next steps. Well done Year 11!’
