Miss Cook and Miss Brace took six of our Year 10 scholars on a residential trip to Cambridge University. After a very early pick-up we arrived at Jesus College Cambridge to glorious weather. We were taken on a tour of the campus and attended an academic lecture. Miss Cook opted for Chemistry, while Miss Brace and the students chose a lecture in linguistics that examined how language analysis is used in forensics.

After dinner, students joined in group activities and got to know students from other North-east schools, then enjoyed free time in The Orchard before bed and lights out.

Our final day took us on a walking tour of Cambridge and Magdalen College. Students were given the opportunity to evaluate their experience and say goodbye to new friends. A lovely, educational time was had by all.
