Last week, our young carers enjoyed a well-deserved, end-of-year trip to Roker Marine Activity Centre, where they took part in paddle boarding and the exciting challenge of pier jumping.

The day was a celebration of their dedication to their studies while continuing to balance the responsibilities of their caring roles at home. After working up an appetite in the water, the group rounded off the day with a visit to Slice for some well-earned pizza.

We are incredibly proud of everything these young people have achieved this year and were delighted to recognise their hard work with a fun day out.
