Our Year 10 students who have secured work placements were out at work across the area learning about the essential skills needed in the jobs they have chosen to try their hand at. Over 100 students were out on placement at various places including primary schools, engineering, wind turbine blade repair, PR and marketing, hair and beauty, construction, landscaping, military prep school, physio, mechanics and more! 

Meanwhile, the students who were not on placement did not miss out, with careers workshops, practicing their group presentation skills and having a go at mock interviews. There was even the chance to try out a spot of horticulture work in our school garden.
