56 families received free breakfast items today via our link with the Magic Breakfast team.  Those families that responded to the MyEd message asking if they would welcome breakfast provision picked up packs for a fortnight’s worth of breakfasts for each child in the school yard, organised by the pastoral team. The team then kindly offered to drop off items where families have received letters from their doctor telling them to shelter, or those who had a large order which would be difficult to carry, spare foods were also donated to the local food bank who were delighted!

This provision will be available fortnightly with the next order due to be ready on the 6th May. Please contact your head of year via the myEd app or email info@sandhillview.com if you did not respond to the original message but would like to pick up breakfast items in future.

Our Science Technician also contacted our local NHS primary care Trust to offer the school’s support in providing all our PPE. She was able to gather two sack fulls of brand new, unopened PPE equipment.  They were very grateful for our small contribution.
