Year 10 students took part in the second session of the “Building My Skills” programme from Esh Group following the introduction 2 weeks’ ago. Representatives from the Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW NHS) talked about the huge range of jobs available within the NHS and what types of employability skills you need in order to be successful in this particular sector. Students will now embark on their first Checkpoint task which will involve researching different types of jobs and the skills needed to do those jobs.
