Science Live! in Sheffield
Budding scientists travelled down to Sheffield just before half term to attend the ‘GCSE Science Live’ lectures. It was a fantastic opportunity to see and hear some of Britain’s top scientists, all working at the cutting edge of their specialisms. Guests included host of BBC’s ‘Sky at Night’, Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock, host of BBC 2’s ‘Coast’, ‘Human Journey’ and ‘Origins of Us’, Prof Alice Roberts, and world famous medical doctor and peer, Prof Robert Winston.
