Sandhill Tackle Rugby Tournament
Over 100 Year 7 and 8 students from across the city descended on Southmoor Academy for the Sunderland Schools’ Rugby Union Competition. Southmoor, Castle View, Monkwearmoth, Sandhill View, St Aidan’s and Grindon Hall all took to the field. Our teams’ intensity and commitment is to be commended, resulting in them winning one of their games convincingly despite having very little previous rugby experience as a team. Well done!
