Scholars’ students have had a very busy week! They spent a day at Newcastle University where they experienced lectures in actual lecture theatres, looked around the campus to see what it would be like to study and live there and had a lovely lunch time in the city centre experiencing Newcastle at Christmas. The highlight was looking at the lecture theatre in the medical school which could sit 600 students! It was quite a view. 

They received a lecture in school about journalism and marketing. They learnt how colour and shape can influence people and how this is a powerful marketing tool.  

What a fantastic end to a busy term. It has been brilliant to watch the scholars’ interest in higher education grow. We look forward to more lectures, visits, and the start of the personal project next term.
