Sandhill Scholars Explore Newcastle University
Year 10 students on our ‘Scholars’ programme attended an exclusive visit to Newcastle University with their counterparts from Southmoor Academy. They spent the day with dedicated student ambassadors and took part in a range of activities including university Pictionary and a campus treasure hunt. They also analysed job adverts and graduate profiles and thought about the transferrable skills gained from a range of degree subjects.
