Sandhill Scholars at St Chads
Year 10 participants of our scholars’ programme attended St Chad’s College in Durham. Scholars had lunch, a welcome meeting from the principal, a student life talk with ambassadors and a college tour.
Sandhill Scholars is a one-year academic programme for year 10 students. The aims of the programme are to embed a love of learning, improve high level study skills beyond GCSE and to raise aspirations to university study. This term scholars will have weekly lecturers that are delivered from universities across the country.
