For the final lesson in the ‘Real Love Rocks’ our Year 7 students took part in an informative workshop around the subject of online porn. It is estimated that 90% of young people have access to porn on the internet and so this workshop’s aim was to outline the problems that accessing porn can cause. This included information about how porn is a very poor representation of what healthy sexual relationships look like, the topic of porn addiction and how the culture around porn can lead young people to make poor decisions in their own lives. With this final workshop now concluded, we hope our Year 7 students are better equipped to have positive, healthy relationships as they grow up.
