The Trustees of Aspire North East are looking to recruit a Parent Governor to join the Sandhill View Academy Local Governing Body.  Meetings are generally held 3 times a year (once per term) after school and last approximately 2 hours where Governors hear and discuss the Headteacher’s Termly Report.

You must be willing to undertake training in relation to the responsibilities of the role including an induction programme and compulsory safeguarding training.  To express an interest in the post and receive further information please email sara.barwick@aspirenortheast.co.uk with your details and a brief outline of what qualities or skills you feel you could bring to the Local Governing Body.

To apply you must be a parent (or have parental responsibility) of a child currently in Years 7 – 11 at Sandhill View Academy.
