Outdoor Skills with the Prince’s Trust
Currently two groups of students from KS3 are completing a Prince’s Trust project focusing on teamwork. As part of the course, they visited a forest in Teesdale and learnt to build campfires and how to safely cook outside.
The students all took a role in preparing food for one another and worked well as part of a team. They particularly enjoyed playing team games against the staff! Our next visit will be in June to Durham University and Stockton Riverside College.
