Maths Bright Sparks
Our Year 9 mathematicians visited the Herschel Lab at Newcastle University to investigate sequences. They were introduced to Gauss’ formula to find the sum of a linear sequence. Timing is everything, they studied the topic linked to this last week! The methods they used today are those they will use at A level.
The students then engaged in activities relating to Exponential Growth! All were thoroughly engaged offering many of the answers!
