Independent Art

Year 10 students have been asked to choose their own creative path they’d like to explore as part of their art coursework. Students have taken inspiration from movies, music and popular culture. Thank you to Maddison Smith (red ink and clay piece), Louisa Turnbull (Wednesday), Akira Crossley (Ultraviolence) and Lily Robinson (Bucky) for these pieces. We can wait to see how they explore their ideas further!

Meanwhile in graphics students have chosen their own design brief. They are recreating either books, logos or CD covers. They have been experimenting with continuous line drawings and colour. They then have been scanning these into the computer using acetate sheets to over lay and create these fantastic layered logos. They have been working so well and I can’t wait to see the creative journey continue!
