Energy Quest Gains Momentum
Year 8 students took part in an ‘Energy Quest’ workshop. The workshop is a school programme that encourages young people to find out all about sustainable energy and learn about associated engineering careers. The interactive STEM workshop was packed with hands-on activities, careers information and stories from real engineers working in energy. Students got the chance to build their own electric model cars and race them against each other to see which teams was the most efficient.
