Over half term, 8 students with excellent attendance were given the unique opportunity of visiting the Beacon of Light where they met some of the players from Sunderland football club including captain Granit Xhaka!

Students played Fifa against the footballers and were taught some fun lessons about football, formations and the games in general.

Our next attendance rewards and incentives for this half term are:

Full attendance between 9th March to the 13th March: Candy floss on Friday 13th.
Full attendance between 16th March to the 20th March: Derby Day 2 – football strip or hoody on Friday 20th.
Full attendance between 23rd March to the 27th March: Trainer Pass on Friday 27th.
Plus there is a chance to win a SAFC Stadium Tour on March 20^th – you have to be in school to have a chance of winning!

Only students who keep up their attendance between now and then can take part in all of these incentives so make sure you get into school on time every day!
