On Monday 2nd March, as part of Careers week, Year 8 Geographers visited Stagecoach in Sunderland to learn about all the careers available within the Stagecoach company. This linked into their topic of World of Work, learning all about the new opportunities provided in a post-industrial Sunderland. It was fantastic to see behind the scenes at Stagecoach and we would like to thank Michael and the team there for being such amazing and informative hosts. The Year 8’s even had opportunity to paint one of the double decker buses which is getting refurbished, ready to serve the people of the North East!
