A Welcome Boost for Remote Learning
Last week, we shared the great news that Asda Sunderland Community Champion Emily Whittington arranged a surprise delivery of ten laptops to Sandhill View as part of the supermarket’s initiative to close the ‘digital divide’.
This week we have yet more wonderful news! We have been offered even more free laptops from the ‘Box Project’, a charity set up to encourage and enrich the lives of families and individuals living in rural poverty by establishing meaningful relationships, promoting education, and offering material aid.
We are delighted with this unexpected boost to our remote learning provision and will put these new laptops to good use supporting the students who need them most to continue to receive their education from home.
We are humbled by this generosity and are truly grateful that our children have been thought about with such kindness and compassion.
