A Touch of Frost for the Eco Team
Temperatures have certainly dropped, the polytunnel thermometer reading -1.1 recently! The Eco Team have planted their first tree of the 2022-2023 tree planting season, around the forest classrooms.
Students have also begun splitting the exiting rhubarb crown in the fruit cage to allow the old crown the space to expand. Rhubarb plants are best split in November when the plant is dormant but soil is still warm enough to allow the roots to develop ready for spring.
