A Growing Success Story
After a year of dedication and hard work from our pupils across every year group, we were delighted to host our annual Garden Party this week. Governors and special guests joined us to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our students and the projects they have developed throughout the year.
Visitors enjoyed exploring our thriving garden, where pupils proudly showcased the produce grown in the raised beds and polytunnel. Students also highlighted their work supporting local wildlife through the creation of mammal and bug hotels, insect hives and a wormery, helping to encourage biodiversity across the school grounds.
Guests also met our chickens and ducks, which are cared for by staff and students. Through these hands-on experiences, pupils develop responsibility, confidence and teamwork skills, while gaining a deeper understanding of sustainability and animal welfare.
The Garden Party was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our pupils’ hard work, achievements and the positive impact the garden continues to have on learning, wellbeing and engagement across the school.
