Junk Gets a Makeover
Creativity, sustainability and innovation have come together in one of our latest Electives projects, as students explore how discarded materials could be transformed into something completely new.
As part of this term’s Electives programme, students are working on a project inspired by plastic waste, with the ambitious challenge of creating fashion from junk. During their latest sessions, groups have been busy assembling research and development boards, gathering materials and investigating designers who are already using recycled and unconventional materials in their work.
The research stage is helping students develop their ideas before they move on to the exciting part — designing and making their own creations.
Our Electives programme gives students the opportunity to complete a different project each term, choosing from our three Electives categories. Each project encourages students to explore new interests, develop practical skills and apply their creativity in different ways.
We can’t wait to see what they create!
