A group of our students were among the first school pupils to experience Sunderland’s brand-new Culture House, taking part in its inaugural Schools Festival.

Based in Keel Square, Culture House is an exciting new creative space for the city. Our students took part in sessions including sublimation printing, zine-making, Little Inventors, filmmaking and dance, as well as exploring the new building and trying out different activities.

It was particularly exciting to see some of their work from the earlier Little Inventors workshop already on display, giving students the chance to see their creativity showcased in the new venue.

A huge thank you to the Culture House team and all the artists and practitioners who made the experience so welcoming. We look forward to seeing our students continue to explore the creative opportunities available across Sunderland.
