We were delighted to welcome Year 6 pupils from our partner primary schools for three exciting transition days, giving them a great introduction to life at Sandhill View Academy ahead of joining us in September.

Pupils explored the academy, met key staff and their new form tutors, took part in fun team-building activities, and discovered our brand-new Electives programme. As one of the first year groups to experience this exciting part of our Character Curriculum, they’ll enjoy a range of opportunities designed to develop essential life skills, build confidence and discover new interests.

The visit ended with our Primary School Sandhill Games, where pupils showed fantastic enthusiasm, teamwork and determination in a range of track and field events. It was a brilliant few days, and we can’t wait to welcome our newest students back in September to begin their Sandhill journey.
