Life Centre Adventure
Year 10 students recently visited the Life Science Centre in Newcastle for an exciting day of hands-on learning, exploring science, space, and dinosaurs.
Students began by discovering the centre’s interactive exhibits, with a particular highlight being the brand new dinosaur exhibition, featuring life-sized models and fascinating fossils. They also explored the space zone, learning about planets, space exploration, and how scientists study the universe.
The day ended with a behind-the-scenes heart dissection workshop, where students examined a real heart and identified its key structures and functions. This memorable experience brought classroom learning to life and gave students a real insight into practical science in action.
It was a brilliant trip filled with curiosity, enthusiasm, and discovery throughout.
