She Leads the Way
A select group of Year 8 and Year 9 girls had the unique opportunity of attending an enrichment opportunity with four successful female entrepreneurs.
Hannah, a solicitor, spoke at length about choices in education and later life and how the girls can channel their own desires to create their own success academically and financially.
Kate Lord, who has won a commendation from the Queen, discussed her life in the Army training women in Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia and how men judged her. She further detailed her journey in the world of fitness and semi-permanent make-up and finished with her own personal tragedy.
Tara Baldwin, the founder of Club Massive, showed the girls various weightlifting, exercising, running and working out routines. She led the girls into some Olympic Lifting with the Clean and Jerk demonstrated and the girls taking on this lift.
Finally, Karleigh Wright detailed her life on the cruise ship as a dancer, jobs in Morrisons to make ends meet during covid and her now successful business targeting girls only.
We hope the girls remained focus on education and their careers!
