GCSE Results Day 2025!
Smiles All Round for Year 11 at SHV
There was a fantastic buzz at Sandhill View Academy this morning as we proudly welcomed the Class of 2025 back to collect their GCSE results. We’re delighted to share that this year’s results continue the positive trend of improving outcomes for our students, reflecting their hard work, determination, and resilience.
It was an emotional morning filled with joy, relief, and celebration as students reunited with friends, family, and teachers to open their envelopes. Smiles, hugs, and even a few happy tears filled the room as students saw the rewards of their efforts—and the support of our dedicated staff—reflected in some truly excellent results.
Congratulations to all of our Year 11 students. We are incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved and look forward to seeing what comes next in your journey!
Headteacher, Mrs Dodd said:
‘We are immensely proud of the Class of 2025. Almost half of our students leave with at least a grade 5 in English and maths, whilst 60% leave us with at least a grade 4. Their results reflect hard work, resilience and ambition, and we are excited to see what the future holds for them. These achievements are a testament to the dedication of our students, staff and families working together as a community.’
We are delighted that more students than ever before are progressing into the sixth form at Southmoor, well equipped with the skills needed to succeed at A Level and other Level 3 courses.
Congratulations to all of our students on their hard-earned results. We wish you all every continued success for the future!
