Recently ‘Nativity: The Musical!’ has been putting theatre goers in the festive mood ahead of Christmas and we are proud to report that one of SHV’s own students were among the cast on stage for the performances! We asked Lula to give her own perspective and what it was like being in such a production:

Hi, I’m Lula and I played Katelyn the Star in Nativity! The musical on the Sunderland Empire! This was an amazing experience performing on such a massive stage! It was just so magical, working with loads of wonderful people to create a performance that gave us what we always desired. Who won that five-star review? We did! The Chronicle Live gave us such a special and memorable review that none of us will ever forget! (I’ve pasted the link down below). This was an unforgettable opportunity, especially with such a great audience, and I will remember it forever!
