At scholars’ students had a seminar with Rima from Oxford University. They spent time learning about Oxbridge and the application process. They also looked at the college system at Oxford and how this differs to other universities. Students were told of the courses available and entry requirements at the university and how their personal statement needs to make them stand out from other applicants. We discussed the importance of extra curricula activities which students can reflect upon in their aspire-2-be journal which they can use to help them write college and university applications.
