Starting on Tuesday 7th July our G.C.S.E art students got to the chance to show off their creative talents in the Summer Art Show which took place in the school theatre. From the opening preview night on the 7th the show was open to the public on the evenings and to the students at lunchtime for three days. Many showed up to view the exhibition and all were impressed at the breath and scale of creativity our students show in their work. From sketchbooks to sculptures, collages to paintings there were some truly vibrant and imaginative pieces on show. Also on view were some of the equally colourful hand-crafted cabinets made by our G.C.S.E Design students in their final project, pictures of these and other parts of the show can be found below.
We’d like to thank everyone who attended the show and also to those students who helped Mrs. Roche and Miss Brinskey set up and dismantle the exhibition.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s exhibition!
