We are committed to providing a healthy and nutritious selection of foods for our students. To achieve this we work to constantly improve a menu of tasty and enjoyable meals that will help promote beneficial eating habits amongst our pupils.
At Sandhill View Academy we operate a cashless system to pay for school meals. Students will be issued with a named lunch card at the start of the year that they can top up using machines placed within the lunch hall. Please take care of your lunch card as there will be a small fee incurred should it need to be replaced. This system is due to be replaced by a cashless biometric system that will eliminate the need for lunch cards in October 2017. Parents will be able to update their child’s lunch account via parent pay. Machine will still be available in our lunch hall for cash top-ups.
Students are also welcome to bring a packed lunch which they may eat in the lunch hall.
The school lunches operate on a three week cycle which you can find below. We change this menu cycle regularly throughout the year to offer more variety, the information on this page will be updated whenever we change our menu cycle. For the full menu please see below. The menu can also be downloaded here.
