Southmoor 16-19 study: Students are mature and sensible. Current students in Years 12 and 13 are making good progress on their chosen courses because teaching is consistently good and members of staff are on hand to support them every step of the way.
The main focus of this post is to ensure the effective delivery of the Design Technology/Engineering Curriculum by supporting the teaching staff in the preparation of resources for lessons and the general maintenance of the department equipment and workshops. We are looking for an individual with a Design Technology/engineering background and practical experience. The post will require the successful applicants to be self-motivated, have good communication and organisational skills.

We are looking for someone who will:
- Have an up-to-date knowledge of web and graphic design that can be harnessed to promote teaching and learning as well as to assist in increasing the reputation of our schools.
- A creative flair to bring new design and fresh ideas to our team.
- Have a strong working knowledge of the relevant software involved.
- Have excellent time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines in an efficient and effective way.
- Be comfortable documenting weekly school events through the use of photography or video skills for use in our school blogs.
- Has the confidence in their skills to work independently where required.
